What You Will Be Working On- Source, negotiate, and purchase MRO materials, equipment, and services for projects.- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and favorable terms.- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and lead time.- Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and manage necessary changes.- Utilize SAP & Viewpoint for managing purchase orders and maintaining accurate procurement records.- Ensure all purchasing activities are documented in SAP/Viewpoint and align with company policies.- Analyze market trends for opportunities in cost savings and process improvements.- Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments for MRO supply needs.- Monitor and control procurement budgets, focusing on MRO supplies.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements.- Assess and mitigate risks within the MRO supply chain.- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to resolve material quality or supply issues.- Maintain procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements specific to MRO.- Prepare and present reports on MRO procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to schedule and forecast MRO material and equipment needs.- Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships, addressing any issues and promoting continuous improvement.- Create accurate purchase orders and procurement documents for MRO-related purchases.- Implement procurement strategies to meet the operational and project requirements related to MRO.- Maintain supplier performance metrics focused on MRO materials and services.- Assist the Estimating team with RFX packages for proposal pricing related to MRO supplies.- Coordinate and communicate with site teams to ensure that MRO procurement needs are met.

What We Are Looking For- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- SMT (Supply Management Training) or SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designation is highly desirable, or enrollment in the SCMP program is considered an asset.- 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with a preference for experience in MRO procurement.- Familiarity with MRO materials, equipment, and industry standards.- Strong negotiation and communication skills.- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and track orders.- Effective communication skills.- Ability to resolve disputes or issues with suppliers during the procurement process.- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and best practices related to MRO materials.- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
