**Job description**

**Knowledge of Telus PS Suite (EMR) is required.**

**Job Functions**
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments.
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies.
- Collect patient payments and provide receipts.
- Gather relevant patient information for physicians (height, weight, temperature)
- Provide patient instruction for urine tests. Collect and interpret urine test data for physicians.
- Follow up with patients on test results, referrals, physicians call backs as directed by physicians.
- Maintain a clean work environment for staff and patients.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in English required
- Fluency in Mandarin is an asset
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to take initiative on tasks.
