Our home is in Edmonton, Alberta, but we have traveled throughout our province and beyond to share our services. Our clients are just as multifaceted. It is not uncommon to find any one of our partners offering a fine dining sunset dinner with a romantic view and another partner serving poutine from a food truck. The hospitality industry is about service and guest satisfaction. Events at Enjoy, a division of Passionate Hospitality Group, has extensive experience in coordinating and executing special events from fundraisers and gala dinners to conferences and corporate events such as receptions, client appreciation and awards ceremonies. Showcased in a very unique and incomparable setting, Events at Enjoy has established itself as one of the premier event venues in Alberta. **Position Summary**:
The Event Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client experiences. This position encompasses client relationship management, team leadership, financial oversight, and operational efficiency. The Event Manager drives the strategic direction of the events department while maintaining a hands-on approach to ensure flawless execution.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Relations and Leadership**:

- Represent the company with executive-level leadership during client meetings, fostering trust and building strong relationships with clients, guests, and team members.
- Double-check all event contracts, invoices, and meetings to ensure adherence to standard protocols.
- Monitor client satisfaction, address escalations, and ensure event success through proactive engagement

**Team Management and Development**:

- Oversee hiring and onboarding of full-time in-house event staff, ensuring a high-performing team.
- Conduct performance reviews and monitor staff efficiency, implementing workflow improvements as needed.
- Develop time-blocking plans for team members and conduct weekly check-ins and debriefs to ensure event preparedness and continuous improvement.

**Event Coordination and Execution**:

- Manage all events using systems such as Event Temple, All-seated/Prismm, and Google Docs.
- Supervise key moments of events, including setup, ceremonies, and dinners, ensuring seamless execution.
- Create comprehensive food, beverage, and event procedures for each event.
- Collaborate with Glasshouse and other partners for staffing, menu creation, and operational requirements.
- **Financial Management**:

- Prepare, monitor, and complete detailed event budgets, including creating budget templates to support hosting internal events.
- Lead financial oversight, manage purchase approvals, and perform financial reporting using tools like 7Shifts.
- Approve shift schedules and ensure staff adherence to punch-in/out and break protocols.

**Marketing and Communications**:

- Oversee website maintenance, social media management, and content creation for internal and external communications.
- Plan and execute newsletters, mailouts, and marketing campaigns to promo
