**Job Opening: Ready For Operation (RFO) Manager**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Project Planning and Coordination**:

- Develop and implement detailed project plans for the Ready For Operation phase.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and goals.
- Oversee the execution of commissioning activities to ensure successful project completion.

**2.** **Development of Maintenance Program**:

- Utilize extensive knowledge of refining production processes to optimize facility and maintenance staff readiness for plant start-up.
- Collaborate with Client maintenance and operation teams to develop a maintenance program with implementation strategy and schedule.
- Conduct thorough reviews of facility designs and specifications to ensure maintainability of the equipment, critical spare part identification, Preventative Maintenance, and Corrective maintenance procedures.

**3.** **Development of Operations Program**:

- Utilize extensive knowledge of refining production processes to optimize facility and operation staff readiness for plant Start-up.
- Collaborate with the Client’s Operations Team in developing an operations program complete with implementation strategy and schedule.
- Develop technical training requirements, work Operating training packages, Control of work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, staffing strategy and workforce requirements to support the facility start-up

**4.** **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and oversee quality assurance protocols for the Ready For Operation phase.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any deviations from project specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all technical training materials for the operations and maintenance staff.

**5.** **Safety and Compliance**:

- Prioritize and enforce safety protocols, procedures and processes to support the safe and efficient start-up of the facility.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and regulatory standards are captured in the Facility maintenance and operating procedures.

**6.** **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed documentation of commissioning activities and results.
- Generate comprehensive progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to project management on the status of commissioning activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Power Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in an RFO Role is a must ((5-10 years of RFO experience),
- Experience in commissioning and start-up roles, focusing on Biofuel facilities and Carbon Recycling.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the energy and environmental sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both remotely and onsite as needed.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
