Overview

Are you interested in leading a team that manages communications from Prevention's key stakeholders, our workers, and employers?

As **Manager, Prevention Support Services**, you’ll look after operations in the department and lead a team who identify and respond to mental health risk situations, provide support to injured workers and their families during periods of psychological distress, and serve as a resource to case management teams throughout the province. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that goals and key performance indicators are met through promoting and fostering continuing quality improvement and creating a supportive work environment with open communication and teamwork.

This is **temporary** position for eighteen-months.

**Where you’ll work**

You’ll work primarily from your B.C. home and occasionally in our Richmond office.

- Oversee Prevention Support Services operations for effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans, aligning activities to support objectives.
- Foster a service-oriented approach, promptly addressing stakeholder needs and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with the management team in process and business planning activities.
- Lead and manage staff, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and development planning.
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC's safety policies, conduct inspections, hold meetings, and investigate accidents.

**Your background and experience**
- A degree in a related field and 3 years’ of experience in a call centre environment.
- People management experience is an asset.
