RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
As a member of the Human Resources and Environmental Health & Safety Division, the incumbent will have the pride to work in one of the largest research centers in Canada and your contribution will support important biomedical research.

The HR Summer worker will be responsible to manage the Canada Summer Job program in addition to supporting the daily activities and Talent Acquisition initiatives.

General Duties
- Coordinate and manage the Canada Summer Jobs governmental grant program (includes submission of information on the Government portal in compliance with the projects’ deadlines and requirements, efficiently and effectively track each project, validate documents and communicate with researchers, employees etc.),
- Conduct phone interviews,
- Coordinate in-person interviews on different sites,
- Perform pre-employment process, such as criminal record background checks and professional references,
- Support the Talent Acquisition Advisors with daily activities and follow-ups and continuous improvement initiatives,
- Responsible to do the annual work permit validation and professional membership validation,
- More mandates could be added according to context.

Additional information

**Status**: Temporary Full time (4 month contract)

**Pay Scale**: Commensurate with education and experience

**Work Shift**: 35-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of a flexible schedule - Could start on a part-time basis for the first few weeks.

**Work Site**: Telework
