The Human Resource Administrator is responsible for US hourly and salary payroll, government remittances, garnishee deductions, administration of health care benefits, short term and long-term benefits, administrations of WCB remittances and administration of RRSP and 401K.

In support of these programs, this position plays an integral role in providing processes, tools, and resources to drive achievement of divisional and corporate objectives by building harmonious and respectful working relationships, organizational efficiencies, and employment talent. This position works closely with department managers to advance a harmonious and respectful working relationship. This position reports to the Human Resource, Health & Safety Environmental Manager.

**Duties/Responsibilities/Procedures**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
Administer all aspects of payroll processing for a weekly, hourly payroll in a timely, accurate manner, while ensuring statutory and contractual compliance.

Registering all new hires for payroll and benefits, computing payroll adjustments, deductions and taxable benefits, processing terminations and issuing ROE’s.

Maintain accurate time edits and adjustments on the time and attendance system including vacation, sick time and disability leaves.

Maintain accurate pay structure records and process accordingly.

Payroll back up & Welland (as required).

Plan and schedule all company medicals.

Maintain the seasonal boots, regular boots, jackets & bibs on mister safety web base

Maintain the security ID’ on key scan database.

Maintain the personal & uniform lockers.

Maintains and conducts annual eye exam, eyewear fit testing & ear plug fit testing.

Maintain the safety prescription matrix and administer voucher as required (match requisition/invoice)

Maintain and schedule certification training, as required.

Maintain relationships with external training suppliers.

Maintain annual performance evaluations, as required.

**Salary**: $43,949.00-$47,437.00 per year
