We are a team of creators, problem solvers, and environmentalists, with a deep understanding of the technology and processes required to enable advanced waste and sustainability solutions.
As our Account Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding our services throughout North America by educating new and existing customers on the sustainability landscape and helping them find the highest value solutions for their waste and goods. You will work closely with our Sustainability team to seek out new contacts and leads, and collaborate with internal teams to develop updated customer presentations, proposals, reporting, and service agreements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Seek out new contacts and leads for the Sustainability team
- Help source new recyclers and sustainability providers along with managing our sustainability marketplace
- Understand the significant challenges and opportunities of each account and recommend the best way forward
- Educate customers on sustainability landscape and the impact their current operations have
- Develop updated customer presentations, proposals, reporting, and service agreements
- Work with the solutions team to understand customer sustainability goals and reporting requirements
- Manage all aspects of customer onboarding for our operations and project management teams
- Optimize and update customer relationship management platforms
- Provide administration and budget tracking support as required
- Create and manage quarterly objectives and key results (OKRs)
**Requirements**:
- College or University degree preferred
- 3+ years of sales/account management experience
- Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable with change
- Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to go above and beyond for customers
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend the best way forward
- Passion for sustainability and the environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with internal and customer stakeholders
- Experience with CRM tools such as Hubspot is a plus
- Experience with presentation software such as Canva and Excel is a plus
