**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supports the current Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring we are tracking to hit our targets, monitoring performance, identifying trends in order to help make decisions, and course correct where needed
- Contributes to the development and achievement of the company’s science-based GHG reduction goals by participating in the preparation of annual templates for environmental performance indicators
- Organizes, analyzes, visualizes, and presents carbon data, which includes the preparation of annual templates for key environmental performance indicators
- Conducts detailed analysis to identify root causes to issues and concerns as they relate to results and trends
- Responsible for the consolidation and analysis of environmental performance data as well as the development and distribution of various internal and public reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with global reporting standards
- Ensures compliance with and reporting on relevant sustainability regulations, standards, and reporting requirements related to environmental social governance through collaboration with external partners

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- 6-10 years’ experience in an environmental analytics role, ideally in biotech or similar highly regulated / relevant industry (e.g. energy efficiency or renewables, water or waste management etc.)
- Knowledge of environmental standards within the life sciences industry and relevant certification programs (i.e. ISO 14001, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Product Life Cycle Assessment, Science Based Targets Initiative, Global Reporting Initiative or Carbon Disclosure Project) is an asset
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; communicates in a clear, concise and organized manner; listens to others to obtain information
- Strong problem-solving; ability to work with incomplete information and make proposals and recommendations
- Data management and visualization skills an asset
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to work in an autonomous environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$78,640.00 - $118,000.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
