Are you a dedicated leader with a specialty for handling student conduct and policy administration? Join us as our new **Coordinator, Student Conduct/Lead Sexual Violence Investigator.**

Reporting to the Associate Vice President (Student Affairs), this position is responsible for administration of non-academic misconduct and conduct leadership throughout all areas of campus. This position coordinates and completes all investigations of complaints under the Student Non-Academic Misconduct Policy (as outlined in the University Discipline Regulations). The position also coordinates and administers aspects of the Sexual Violence/Misconduct Policy, and will lead investigations involving students, as outlined in the Policy.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Investigate student complaints of non-academic misconduct (including discrimination and harassment), and sexual violence/misconduct
- Collaborate with the Respectful University Services Coordinator to assess incidents and conduct investigations involving student violations of the RU Policy.
- Be the go-to non-academic misconduct and conflict resolution expert
- Support the development and training related to protocols for students in crisis and at risk
- Develop, facilitate and oversee operations of the University Bystander Intervention training program.
- Handle all reporting and record management

Position Requirements

**What You’ll Bring to this Position**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies, Education, Social Work, Psychology,

Sociology or a related discipline
- Minimum four (4) years of progressive related experience in a leadership role in a post-secondary institution working in student conduct
administration
- Sexual Assault Investigator training heavily preferred
- Professional residence life experience preferred
- Student conduct training such as restorative justice, conflict mediation
and/or sexual investigation training
- Combination of education and experience may be considered.

- Ability to investigate sexual harassment or sexual violence complaints
- Strong investigative skills as well as knowledge of due process, rights
and responsibilities applicable to student judicial work and current
issues/trends related to university student conduct procedures
- Strong decision making skills, with attention to detail
- Thorough knowledge of interviewing and fact finding techniques
- Ability to develop flexible approaches toward work procedures and to
exercise tact and diplomacy
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs and experience working
with complex databases
- Experience in report writing and excellent presentation skills
