**Position Description**:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Community Programs, Employment Placement Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, securing, maintaining, and supporting employment opportunities for participants of the YWCA Regina Youth Employment Program (YEP) as well as program data management, follow-up with stakeholders, and program excellence. This program offers holistic and accessible opportunities to Indigenous women under 30 who experience barriers to employment. This program offers employment readiness, mentorship, skill building, and employment opportunities with a long-term objective of reducing homelessness.
The role may vary depending on community needs and program growth. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with all other Community Programs staff and contribute to a positive workplace culture. The role is responsible for ensuring program requirements are met and will work within the guidelines, policies and mission of the Agency and Program. This may include special projects as assigned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advertise YEP to community agencies and local businesses and build a community presence;
- Maintain a positive profile of YWCA Regina in the community;
- Build and maintain a pool of employers & jobs for participants each session, identify common goals and mutual benefit;
- Ongoing identification and outreach of employment opportunities for participants, maintain and foster relationships with these agencies for ongoing success;
- Foster connection and relationships with participants to assess and establish successful employment opportunities;
- Support participants in securing employment by acting as a liaison between students and employers during each session for all participants;
- Conduct scheduled regular check-ins and placement maintenance to ensure goals and targets of employees and employers are being reached;
- Conduct formal and informal follow-up check-ins with current and past participants;
- Support YEP Classroom and training sessions through supportive facilitation and involvement in collaboration with Youth Employment Coordinator;
- Attend and support Community Programs and YWCA events as needed.

Administrative Duties:

- Maintain appropriate file and caseworker of employers, this includes maintaining up-to-date contracts, agreements, and memorandum of understanding(s);
- Maintain online data records for reporting purposes and progress tracking;
- Maintain financial records and facilitate wage subsidy;
- Budget tracking and receipt management ;
- Casework and file creation and upkeep;
- Assist with program reporting and review;
- Coordinate program evaluation and outcome measurements for relevant programs;
- Maintain program statistics and demographics.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in social sciences, human services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- A proven leader with increasing scope of responsibility and able to coach and lead others;
- Strong understanding of the cycle of violence, intergenerational trauma, and gender-
