**What You Will Do**

In this role, you will get to work as a leader within the Client Services department of Regional HIV/AIDS Connection, specifically out of our 602 Queens Ave. location. Within this capacity, you will manage front-line staff and coordinate outreach and support services related to HIV and HCV.

In this work, you will:

- In consultation with department Director, manage the development, implementation and/or monitoring, and evaluating policies, procedures and systems; work plans and budgets related to HIV/HCV support and outreach.
- In consultation with department Director, manage the process to recruit, select, orient, train, motivate and manage the performance of a variety of positions within the department
- Participate in relevant department and leadership meetings, contributing to the planning and implementation of strategic and operational goals.
- Identify and research emerging issues in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, harm reduction and addictions to inform program development and delivery.
- Participate in RHAC’s leadership 24/7 on-call rotation, covering a week at a time 4-5 times per year

**What You Will Bring**
- Minimum 5 years management experience, preferably in non-profit agency
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in social services, social work, nursing and/or related field
- Knowledge and skills related to working with people who are living with, at risk of or impacted by HIV/HCV; who may be vulnerable and marginalized; and may also be experiencing challenges related to mental health, substance use and homelessness
- Program and budget development, management/monitoring and service delivery knowledge and skills
- Management, supervisory and organizational skills, including knowledge of relevant employment legislation, including organizational health and safety
- Social services knowledge and skills, including availability of community resources, systems navigation, case management, crisis intervention and project management
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, including occupational health and safety
- Interpersonal knowledge and skills including oral and written communication skills
- Computer software and presentation skills
- First Aid/CPR, BLS, Safe sharps handling/disposal and Naloxone training considered an asset
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector police check (VSC)
