**Roles and responsibilities**
- The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Finance/IT team in the following areas:
- Owning the schedule of Finance/IT contracts and expected payments
- Managing the IT-Invoices mailbox and actioning as required
- Updating billing contact info with vendors as needed
- Creating and inputting contracts, POs, and Invoices
- Shepherding approvals for these items
- Acting as the single point of contact for my team for questions about payment status, etc.
- Other task/duties as assigned.
**Qualifications and experience**
- Diploma or degree in accounting or finance
- Working experience in accounting
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Skilled in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and Teams
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Able to take verbal and written direction and to follow through to completion of task and detail oriented
- Able to work well on own and manage time
- Ability to multi-task, proactively problem-solve and take initiative
