Campus & Community Recreation is the host of multiple wellness activities and events that run throughout the University of Alberta campus. This includes recreational events and programs that are available at South Campus as well as North Campus.

**Position**

The Bookings / Events Facilitator is part of the team responsible for the accurate, efficient allocation and booking of space at Foote Field. The Facilitator will assist in the implementation of the allocation process; complete rental agreements and space allocation to comply with the allocation timelines; utilize Recreation Facility Bookings software to accurately book space and assign fees; and work with facility users to ensure the logistics of every booking are recorded and communicated to the appropriate staff members for action. The Facilitator will communicate effectively with both users of the facility and facility staff to ensure set up / take down and facility needs are addressed.

The Bookings / Events Facilitator will coordinate the event booking process; liaise with customers and internal units at Foote Field to ensure event logistics are appropriately administered and ensure the established booking process and lines of communication are being followed. In addition, the Facilitator will ensure timely follow up with all events including internal event evaluation and customer satisfaction surveys.

The Bookings / Events Facilitator will respond to booking inquires, prepare invoices and rental agreements as required and accurately reflect the booking/event logistics to the appropriate staff members. The Facilitator will ensure timely payment of all contracts and follow up on accounts receivables in accordance with the AR policy.

The Bookings / Events Facilitator will facilitate the weekly facility scheduling meeting which will encompass bookings at both Foote Field and the Saville Community Sports Centre, and ensure troubleshooting occurs when errors or conflicts are identified. The Facilitator will also perform customer services, reception and other duties as required.

***Please note that** this position will have a normal work week schedule Tuesday-Saturday and/or Wednesday-Sunday and requires the ability to work variable hours typically between 10am-8pm.
