The Community Recreation and Culture Branch of Community Services currently has an exciting opportunity to join its team as a **Client and Partner Agreement Liaison, Sponsorship**. Duties include:

- Direct sales and signing of new sales agreements within sponsorship
- Engaging and supporting vendors and third party agreements and managing /reviewing potential sponsorship opportunities within the vendor realm
- Assisting in review and implementation of suggestions for improvements or changes to existing processes and assets, keeping a strategic mindset to ensure updates align with Branch priorities and initiatives, communicating these decisions and the rationale staff and all other internal stakeholders for their understanding
- Support relationship building and conflict resolution where needed between the sales staff and external clients, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders across a wide range of teams and departments
- Assisting in proposals development to sell as efficiently as possible
- Manage, review, and update client pipelines and client databases, goals, deliverables
- Ensure all initiatives and vendor work is streamlined and effectively managed for continuous improvement and alignment of all existing and potential new initiatives to Branch priorities and unit goals
- Provide solutions, suggestions, and guidance to facility staff regarding how to address requests in response to sponsorship sales
- Adapt to and work within evolving business unit responsibilities and needs, adjusting workloads and distribution of tasks within team members as necessary
- Provide recommendations to the unit supervisor regarding guiding documents updates and changes in relation to sales.
- Create sales targets and deliverables, and work to navigate through creative solutions to assist with the team’s ability to meet those goals.
- Utilize knowledge of Intellimanager (RAMS) and work with the RAMS team to make additions and improvements to how relevant programs are managed, processed, audited, tracked, and configured in the system, both on our team’s administrative end and from an end user perspective
- Ensure that all necessary areas are consulted and kept informed as needed for any updates, new program initiatives, or changes, which can include but is not limited to leasing, finance, admissions and customer service, bookings, memberships, and leadership for these areas
- Utilize technology such as SAP and Tableau to gather data related to advertising and sponsorship sales, interpreting it into summaries that can be shared at a Branch level as well as inform strategic planning, as well as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool
- Manage inventory database of assets
- Provide direction and guidance to the Sponsorship Contract Administrator role in terms of supporting/ implementation activities related to Sponsorship Agreements and activities as well as manage billing for clients /customers for sponsorship

**Qualifications**:

- Post Secondary Degree in Recreation Administration, Sales and Marketing, Psychology, or other related discipline
- 4 years of directly related experience in sponsorship and a demonstrated competency in program development, naming sponsorship and asset sponsorship vendor management including demonstrated and delivered sponsorship sales and marketing experience within the last 2 years, including 1 year of license and lease experience within the last 2 years and;
- 1 year of experience providing effective leadership, supervision, coaching, and development to a dynamic team within the last 2 years.
- Knowledge of policy development and implementation
- Knowledge of sales techniques and principles
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, versed in written and verbal presentations
- Demonstrated skills in looking strategically at projects and initiatives and aligning them to broader goals
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects with various stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective needs assessments, identify, and implement improvements
- Demonstrated ability to utilize a sales pipeline to demonstrate customer lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyze issue
