**People & Culture Coordinator**

Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO), this position contributes to various core functions of People & Culture (P&C) and ongoing special projects within Children Believe. The People & Culture Coordinator provides the following support services across all offices offering communication support for P&C functions; supporting recruitment processes, employee orientation, and onboarding; maintaining HR files; ensuring data accuracy and integrity in HRIS system (ADP). The People & Culture Coordinator will also perform a range of administrative support duties related to the daily operations of the P&C functions and in the matters pertaining to the Board & Governance including special assignments/project management duties at the discretion of the Chief People & Culture Officer or their designate.

**This position will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including**:

- Support recruitment & selection process including carry out job postings on applicable platforms, pre-screening activities including sharing of interview tools in coordination with P&C colleagues and Office Administrators from Country Offices.
- Facilitate and support onboarding efforts including preparing schedules, communicating with various departments for new hire orientation, assisting in deploying on-boarding surveys etc.
- Coordinate processing and records management of Criminal Reference Checks, Compliance training, Learning, etc.
- Manage HRIS administration of the full employee life cycle, including create and update employee accounts, salary changes, resignations, promotions, transfers, onboarding, off-boarding, ensuring accuracy and completeness of confidential personnel records etc.
- Act as the first point of contact for HRIS troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support as an expert user of ADP and assist in the maintenance and system optimization of the HRIS system.
- Draft, run and process reports of employee data for leadership as and when required.
- Maintain up-to-date information on ADP Workforce Now, weBelieve (intranet), Children Believe website, and other employee interfaces.
- Support in the preparation of employment contracts, employment verification letters, internal memos, collating compensation data & other internal communications.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of Board Nomination, Governance and HR Committee meetings including the scheduling of meetings, preparation of agendas, sharing of documents, attending meetings, and recording and sharing of minutes.
- Provide support to team members on various P&C-related topics in resolving issues that may arise and effectively respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Process and reconcile People and Culture credit card payments and invoices.
- Practice positive, constructive communications demonstrating Children Believe values, and standards.
- Comply with CB’s policies & procedures.
- Carry out other duties as assigned and special projects as needed.
- University degree or college diploma in a related field (Human Resources Management program, Business Administration or similar courses).
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation preferred;
- 2-3 years of Human Resources, Administrative, and Governance Support experience;
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Knowledge of applicable employment legislation;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in crafting employee communications an asset;
- Superb interpersonal skills modeling positive, constructive communications at all levels across CB;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Demonstrated sensitivity to different cultures and multi-faith environment;
- Demonstrated commitment to Children Believe’s Vision, Mission, and Values;
- Ability to speak and/or write in either French or Spanish will be considered an asset
