**How you will make a difference**

As Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the CEO's day-to-day activities run smoothly. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and handling a variety of tasks to support the CEO’s thought leadership and business development initiatives. Your role will involve administrative support and also proactive engagement in finding opportunities for the CEO to engage in local industry events and in drafting the CEO’s thought leadership and social media presence.

This is a part-time, hybrid position working 10-20 hours per week.

**What you will be doing**
- Efficiently manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and prioritize appointments to ensure optimal time management.
- Attend meetings with the CEO to take comprehensive notes, and issue clear action items. Follow up on these items to ensure timely completion.
- Identify and pursue local opportunities to enhance the CEO’s presence and involvement in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
- Draft and edit social media posts, commentary, and other content based on the CEO’s notes and input. Help maintain and grow the CEO’s online presence and thought leadership.
- Write and update various documents for the CEO, including bios, letters, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Provide general administrative support, including handling correspondence, managing documents, and performing other tasks as needed to support the CEO’s role.
- **What we require**
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or Marketing or another related field
- 1+ years in an administrative role or Communications
- Experience working in the communications industry is an asset.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
