Your Impact at Empire
The Digital Operations Specialist will play an important role in shaping our digital landscape and online presence. Primarily, you will execute on the development of insight-driven web pages from concept to launch. You will also work and collaborate with the Digital Platforms team and internal business stakeholders to ensure the company website is kept up-to-date, is visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.
This role is located at our Empire Canada Head Office in Vaughan, ON.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related program
- 3+ years experience in digital marketing; emphasis on website development and content management
- Expertise using content management systems like WordPress
- Understanding and knowledge of web design principles like HTML and CSS

**Bonus If You Have These Skills**:

- Knowledge of JavaScript and other programming language and technical terminology
- Understanding of website performance optimization, SEO, and UX/UI best practices to enhance website speed, user experience, and search engine rankings

What You’ll Be Doing Each Day
- Collaborate with the Digital Platforms team to conceptualize, design, and execute web pages, based on standard content management templates, industry best practices, and backed by internal data sources and research
- Collaborate and coordinate website changes with internal business stakeholders to manage client expectations around time-sensitive campaigns
- Execute on tactical day-to-day web page content and design changes
- Maintain the health and optimize the performance of all aspects of the company website, focusing on speed, user experience, SEO and adherence to company-wide KPIs and best practices
- Work closely with IT to manage, optimize, and construct lead-generation website forms while ensuring seamless integration and functionality to enhance lead generation efforts and reporting
- Monitor and analyze user navigation patterns, review analytics, and work closely with business stakeholders to ensure the website operates at peak performance and aligns with internal KPI goals, continuously driving digital success
