The Social & Digital Marketing Specialist will champion the strategy and execution of the Brand's Social Media, Digital Media, CRM and Mobile App growth strategy. Working with internal and external creative and media agencies, this role will take ownership of social media planning, activities and strategies to develop brand awareness and provide an engaging experience for our customers and followers. It will also own guiding our Guest through the digital landscape from awareness through conversion. In addition, this role will monitor and optimize content on theburgerspriest.ca. The individual will be a critical part of the brand marketing team in defining and fulfilling brand identity and positioning strategies.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Manage The Burger’s Priest social media platforms (Primarily: TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn)
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing on brand promotional campaigns as well as viral opportunities to create buzz, and create social media and digital media campaigns that drive traffic, sales and engagement
- Create content calendars with engaging content to support National activity and piggybacking on trends
- Be the voice of The Burger’s Priest with proactive and reactive community management. Monitor for potential threats or opportunities from what people are saying about the brand online, and work with Guest Services Team for additional social monitoring (Customer Service/Negative)
- Set benchmarks for social/digital measurement and work with internal/external teams to review, track performance and make tactical suggestions for future campaigns
- Establish, build and maintain relationships with relevant influencers and media including coordinating influencer campaigns, mail and/or events, if necessary
- Orchestrate photo/video shoots as and when needed for social or digital purposes (e-commerce, content calendars, new product shoot, Reels, TikToks etc)
- Work with the Director of Marketing to strategize CRM and Push notification calendar with a goal of growing the database through acquisition, frequency and retention tactics (online + offline)
- Identify promotions to grow sales through e-commerce channels and work with Operations Team to test/execute offers
- Optimize mobile app experience for our Guests with relevant updates and changes (Banners, menu categories, images, descriptions etc)

**Skills & Experience**:

- A degree/diploma in business or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated digital and interactive experience
- A minimum 1 - 2 years of experience developing business or marketing plans and cross functional team environment experience
- Strong business acumen and the ability to set KPI’s and analyze raw data into meaningful and actionable insights
- Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- An entrepreneurial team player with a focus on the Guest
- Enjoys a fast paced environment with ability to set priorities to maximum productivity and focused business results
- Strong project management, analytical, organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to think and operate strategically, creatively and tactically
- Creative individual with a passion for social media, content, trends and the online space
