MacEwan University is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant, Faculty Development (Admin Support III) for a full-time continuing opportunity with the Office of the Provost & Vice-President, Academic. You will report to the Deputy Provost, providing comprehensive and detail-oriented administrative support to the Faculty Development Facilitator. This may include logístical support for Development Sessions for Chairs and other Academic Administrators, office supply management, general administrative support and special projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Actively managing calendars by prioritizing meeting requests, scheduling regular and recurring meetings/appointments, blocking working/desk times, coordinating availability with internal and external stakeholders, and rearranging appointments;
- Supporting the development of processes and procedural manuals (e.g., Dossier Guidebook);
- Documenting changes to processes and programs;
- Acting as the first point of contact for faculty members and the Faculty Development Facilitator;
- Coordinating projects, meetings, workshops, and development sessions;
- Arranging room bookings, video conferencing, catering, special equipment;
- Preparing presentation materials, creating agendas, taking minutes, managing polls, taking attendance and following-up on action items;
- Reconciling monthly personal procurement card and generating expense reports;
- Managing office supplies and coordinating business card and name tag ordering; and
- Completing ad-hoc special projects as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of a 2-year post-secondary diploma.
- A minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience or in a similar capacity.
- Experience working in a post-secondary environment would be considered an asset.
- The completion of a certificate in Office Administration or related field would be considered an asset.
- Working knowledge in PeopleSoft would be an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
