**About the role**:
The **Specialist, Direct to Consumer, Consumer Electronics Operations & Planning **will be responsible for ensuring smooth processing for the Direct to Consumer operations for Samsung’s across Canada. Working along side the DtC team, this Specialist will be in charge of sales analysis, forecasting, and inventory on the consumer electronics side of business to ensure the DtC team is achieving revenue target.
**What you’ll do**:
- Responsible for account level forecast, Collaborative Planning Forecast and Replenishment (CPFR) Analysis and Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) Analysis in order to achieve revenue target
- Attend the weekly CPFR meeting with inventory analysts, customer/sales representative (Review of Purchase Order Submission, order forecast, product transition and account issues etc)
- Work with divisional demand planners to ensure all AP1/AP2 are entered correctly at all times and appropriate level of inventory is allocated
- Responsible to ensure that weekly demand is adjusted to match weekly sale
- Report issues and gaps to account managers and perform root cause analysis for resolution
- KPI Monitoring and Analysis (Sales, aging, forecast accuracy, inventory management, weeks of supply)
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly target analysis and recommend gap closure strategies
- Support the standardization and implementation of Supply Chain Management operating procedures
- Support the DtC operations/planning team for ad hoc requests
**What you’ve done**:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office products
- Strong detail orientation
- Ability to interact with all levels of management internally
- Analytical skill with Reporting & Summarizing
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Organization & Time Management skill
- Creative thinking skill
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the organization, vendors
