**Accounts Payable Clerk - Coquitlam, BC (Hybrid)**

**Introduction**

Venturis Capital Corporation, based in Coquitlam, BC, is actively seeking an **Accounts Payable Clerk **to join the Financial Reporting team at the head office. Venturis Capital Corporation is the parent company of Leavitt Machinery, a renowned wholesaler in the material handling equipment industry with multiple dealerships across Canada and the United States.

This position reports to the Financial Reporting Supervisor and works closely with the Senior Accountants. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, providing flexibility to manage your work and personal commitments effectively.

**Responsibilities**:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all invoices received are processed properly as well as processing all business-related expense claims generated by employees while conducting business on behalf of the Company.
- Accurately processing all received invoices and assigning appropriate codes.
- Managing high
- volume of data entry efficiently.
- Following up with operations to resolve invoice-related issues.
- Matching cheques and maintaining proper filing.
- Undertaking other ad hoc administrative duties as needed.
- Possesses Accounting degree or a related field.
- Has a minimum of two years of related work experience in accounts payable.
- Previous bookkeeping experience would be beneficial.
- Demonstrates superior skills in using MS Office, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Concur will be considered an asset.
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong multitasking abilities.
- Shows accuracy, organization and attention to detail.
- Has a proactive approach to meet deadlines.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
