Accounts Payable Specialist

Leavitt Machinery is a leading provider of material handling equipment solutions. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Coquitlam, BC.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to process all invoices received, manage high-volume data entry, and resolve invoice-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process all received invoices and assign appropriate codes
- Manage high-volume data entry efficiently
- Follow up with operations to resolve invoice-related issues
- Match cheques and maintain proper filing
- Handle wire transfers, electronic payments, and credit application requests
- Undertake other ad hoc administrative duties as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- Possesses Accounting degree or a related field
- Has a minimum of two years of related work experience in accounts payable
- Previous bookkeeping experience would be beneficial
- Demonstrates superior skills in using MS Office, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Concur will be considered an asset
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong multitasking abilities
- Shows accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Has a proactive approach to meet deadlines
- Able to work with minimum supervision

The base pay range for this role is: $44,600 to $54,500 per year.
This is a hybrid role based in Coquitlam, BC.
