Medical Office Administrator

Gentle Procedures Clinic is a boutique surgical clinic that delivers world-class expertise to OHIP and Non-OHIP patients. We maintain the highest standards of patient care and pride ourselves in providing patients with the best possible surgical outcomes and client experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Medical Office Administrator to join our team. Medical Office Administrative experience is essential.
**Requirements**:
- Well spoken - solid communication skills
- Professional
- Highly energetic, mature, genuinely friendly and team oriented
- Comfortable making calls all day (i.e. existing patients, new prospects)
- Comfortable working with computers (i.e. Electronic medical records)
- Highly reliable and punctual in completing all assigned tasks
- Open-minded and motivated to learn and **grow their skills**:
- Flexible with shift scheduling and able to modify their schedule (days and/or hours) in accordance with clinic’s requirements and patient volume
**Education/Experience**
- 1 year of experience working in a clinical setting
- Experience working with Accuro EMR system is a major asset
**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for complete patient satisfaction throughout the patient intake process at the clinic
- Comfortable collecting payments
- Collaborating with team members in planning and completion of tasks and projects
- Ensuring all patient correspondence is addressed appropriately and promptly
**Skills**:
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Experience working at the front desk of a medical office or similar setting
- Ability to train new office staff members
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping

**This position reports to the Director of Clinical Operations**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
