**WHO YOU ARE**
- A minimum of 5 years of BC real estate experience as a conveyancer, managing residential real estate files encompassing sales, refinances, purchases, and mortgages.
- Paralegal or legal assistant certification is an asset.
- Proficiency in managing a high volume of transactions and deadlines, including sales, purchases, refinances, and transfers, from start to finish.
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively prioritize tasks and deadlines.
- Experience using MyLTSA, e-filing, Soluno and LOTR.
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, lawyers, and government officials.
- Ability to work independently.
- Exceptional written and verbal skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

As a Conveyancer, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing all aspects of residential real estate files, from opening to closing and post-closing procedures.
- Able to calculate Vendor Statement of Adjustments and Order to Pays without a program.
- Draft various documents, including Web-filing and Transfers, Charges/Mortgages, Discharges, PTT Returns and _Land Owner Transparency Act_ Declarations and Reports.
- Draft correspondence to clients, purchasers, solicitors, and financial institutions.
- Involvement in all aspects of a closing, including scheduling, expediting items to meet deadlines, coordinating receipt of closing documents and funds, reviewing/revising final closing documentation, conducting/verifying final title search requirements, and completing the registration documentation.
- Playing a pivotal role in problem-solving and liaising with clients and solicitors overseeing transactions.
- Organizing and managing post-closing matters and preparing closing reports, release of holdbacks, and STCs.

You will also work alongside our Office Assistants and be expected to perform all of their duties and tasks as we work as a team at Colby Marie Notary Public. Off Assistant duties include:
**General Accountabilities**
- Performs routine clerical and administrative functions, such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining records, or providing information to callers.
- Types and proofs variety of letters, memoranda, forms and reports in an accurate and efficient fashion.
- Typically uses word processing equipment.
- Answers telephones, routes call, takes messages and/or provides information in accordance with company policy.
- Reads and routes incoming mail.
- Schedules meetings and appointments for Notary.
- Makes travel arrangements.
- Establishes and maintains files and records.
- Orders office supplies as necessary
- Performs a variety of clerical duties, including maintaining the general cleanliness of the office (including but not limited to, emptying garbage bins, organizing removal of shredding, watering plants, vacuuming, etc)
- Volunteer in community events on behalf of the Firm.
- Prep Estate Planning documents after appointments
- Prep Conveyancing documents
- A variety of administration duties and tasks

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
