YESA is looking for an _**experienced and professional Event Manager **_with a strong portfolio for a full-time, in-office position.
**Job Overview**
The Events Manager, as part of the creative team works in tandem with both the external and internal marketing teams to oversee and execute all company events. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing staff facing and public facing events to ensure they align with company goals, drive the business forward, deliver a measurable ROI and create a high-quality experience for all attendees.
**Purpose**
1. To plan and execute successful internal events that deliver an outstanding experience for the staff, reinforce brand values, enhance company morale and drive the business forward
2. To plan and execute successful external events that deliver an outstanding experience for attendees, achieve an ROI, position YESA as industry leader and authority and help grow the company's brand awareness.
3. To ensure seamless coordination and logistics for all events, providing a high-quality experience for attendees.
4. To manage event budgets and resources efficiently, maximizing the impact and return on investment for each event.
5. To foster relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to support and elevate the company’s event initiatives
**Duties**
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venues, logistics, catering, decorations, and guest services.
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure the best possible terms and rates, while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
- Identify and manage relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to secure necessary services and resources for events.
- Explore strategies to increase the profitability of events, such as optimizing ticket pricing, identifying new revenue streams (e.g., sponsorships, merchandise), and enhancing the value proposition for attendees and sponsors.
- Market events through various channels to attract attendees and maximize participation.
- Lead and coordinate internal teams and volunteers involved in event planning and execution, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration..
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Event Planning or Event Management.
- Proven experience in event management or a related field within hospitality or project management.
- Driver's Licence + Vehicle.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to events.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
