**Responsible to**:
- Community Ministries Director/Officer or Divisional Headquarters in his/her absence.
**Working Conditions**:
- This is a Part Time Temporary position until January 15 2025. At that time the position will be reviewed for cancellation or continuation
- This position requires availability for working days, evenings, weekends and as required.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Inputting the employees' hours into UltiPro in our payroll system
- Keep an up-to-date record of employees sick and vacation time; calculating vacation entitlement and scheduling.
- Weekly and Month end Sales need to be inputted and the deposit slip, till slip, and debit slip, ensure all numbers match up and then scan documents and download as PDFs and attach and send off with the weekly sales report.
- Input Volunteer Hours inputted into the Better Impact System
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:
- Proficient in computer use using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher) and internet.
- Proven ability to proficiently perform accounting duties including but not limited to payroll and benefits; accounts payable/receivable; issue official receipts for income tax purposes; handle and reconcile petty cash and other banking duties as required.
- Must agree to abide by and promote the principles, philosophies, ideals and mission of the Salvation Army.
- Background check consent.
- A clear vulnerable sector screening.
- A clean drivers abstract.
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training.
