**Temporary (approx. 6 months), Full-Time**
**Human Resources Analyst**
**40 hours/week**
**Waterloo, Ontario**
**(In-Office position)**
The Human Resources Analyst supports Karis Disability Services by collecting, managing and analyzing Human Resource information to help streamline processes and make data-driven decisions. They equip the Human Resource department and leaders in the organization by creating reports, interpreting findings and making recommendations. They work as part of the Human Resources Department within the Waterloo Office to promote, analyze, and develop effective Human Resources practices and information for the best interests of all employees within Karis Disability Services relating to the HRIS and employee data.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the creation and use of reporting functions of the HRIS.
- Collect and analyze Human Resource data from the HRIS and payroll outputs.
- Report on Human Resource data, compiling information based on employee records in the database.
- Identify trends and patterns related to employee data including recruitment data, employee benefit program data
- Use insights to recommend changes to Human Resource practices and processes.
- Design and prepare reports based on organizational needs as defined by the Payroll & HR Systems Manager.
- Collaborate with HRIS team members to provide data-driven insights for informed decision making.
- Create reports with training resources to set up other Human Resource team members to collect data for themselves moving forward.
- Attend workshops, webinars to to keep up to date with best practices in HRIS and data analysis, including software upgrades.
- Complete audits and clean data to eliminate errors and create meaningful analysis.
- Review data and report on anomalies and inconsistencies, recommending actions to resolve issues.
- Provide quality and timely solutions to Human Resources department when they require assistance or clarification.
- Coordinate, validate, and ensure appropriate approvals prior to database configuration.
- Collect, organize, and present information from the HRIS as requested by members of the Organizational Leadership Team.
- Review and analyze information to verify accuracy and integrity of the HRIS and make appropriate recommendation to the Payroll & HR Systems Manager for continuous improvement.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards of Human Resource practice.
- Handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality and integrity.
- Develop training guides and information manuals using a variety of mediums for other members for the Human Resource team; explore and determine best practices and communicate it through the manual.
**Requirements**:
- 1 year on the job, 2 years previous job experience.
- College Diploma in a related field of study (e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Ontario Employment Standards Act and Saskatchewan Employment Act
- Time sensitive deadlines and time-management
- Considerable knowledge of research methods and practices, including statistical analysis
