**Office Administrator, Braun Denture Clinic**

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Office Administrator to join our well-established clinic in Vernon, B.C**.**

Located in the vibrant downtown of Vernon, at Braun Denture Clinic we make it our mission to provide exceptional patient care and ensure our patients love their smiles.

**About the role**:
Reporting and working directly with the Denturist, the receptionist is a key member of the team. The receptionist is accountable for providing an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

This is a part
- time opportunity (Monday-Thursday).

**Key responsibilities**:

- Greet patients upon arrival to the clinic
- Answering the telephone, responding to patient inquiries, and booking appointments
- Managing the patient bookings, ensuring appropriate timing for appointments and follow up appointments as necessary
- Provide exceptional patient care, taking care to promptly resolve patient concerns
- Work with patients to establish payment arrangements
- Manage patient financial accounts that are over-due and create alternative payment arrangements as necessary
- Coordinate with third party insurance providers
- Ensure compliance with all health standards in line with regulatory bodies
- Develop strategies and marketing initiatives to increase new patient growth
- Manage and order office and clinical supplies
- Scanning in paper files into the computer.
- Create marketing information regarding the office for advertising.
- Knowledge of DomX - will train onsite

**What you bring - qualifications**:

- 3+ years’ experience in the dental or medical office willing to train
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work both strategically and tactically
- Strong problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/Word/Excel

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vernon, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
