**Location - Cobblestone Medicine and Rehab Paris**
We are a privately owned, local healthcare facility that opened our doors in 2013. We are a private multidisciplinary healthcare care team that focuses on team-based, collaborative care. We strongly view each patient as a whole and try to provide them with the best care possible We strongly focus on the patient and therapist experience at each clinic location.
Our clinic specializes in Neurological/Concussion rehabilitation, Women's Health/Pregnancy, Mental Health and Psychotherapy, Sports Injuries, Vestibular re-training, and orthopedics. We also provide treatment for motor vehicle accidents and workers' compensation patients.
Our phenomenal teams include Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Social workers, Psychotherapists, Osteopaths, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Neuro-Optometry, Pedorthist, Footcare Nursing, Acupuncturists, Naturopathic Doctors, Athletic Therapists, Kinesiologists and Family Medicine Physicians. We have established an excellent relationship within our community. We have been platinum-rated with many of our services over the years. Since opening our Paris location in 2013, we have added three other Cobblestone locations
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant or equivalent program preferred
- Previous reception experience in a rehab or healthcare practice an asset (Physiotherapy, Chiropractic etc.)
- Experience in service or customer service occupation
**Competencies**:
- Flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced & changing environment
- Excellent organizational skills and time-management skills
- Decisive and able to prioritize
- Proficient at multitasking
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
- Intermediate or strong computer skills for use with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Professional demeanour and appearance
**Job Summary**:
- Greet and arrive patients
- Update patient demographics
- Create EMR charts for new patients
- Answer appointment desk phones; book appointments; re-bookings, answer inquiries from patients
- Book appointments for patients with appropriate doctor/practitioner
- Manage multiple lines and re-direct call appropriately
- Direct patients to various areas in the clinic (cardiology, physio, pharmacy)
- Move incoming electronic faxes to patient chart
- Attach electronic medical reports to patient charts
- Review schedules for accurate bookings and time allowances
- Give forms to patients and explain how to complete them
- Give correspondence and samples to patients from the physicians
- Give forms to patients and take payments
- Track and record all payments received appropriately
- Maintain tidiness in the reception and patient waiting area
- Assist patients with disabilities as needed
- Follow clinic policy and work professionally
- Other duties and projects as assigned
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shifts
