Reporting to National Distribution and Recycling (DRC) Director-NRO, this position’s primary focus will be on assisting the National DRC director and stepping into more of day-to-day support functions such as expense, labour, and forecast tracking, inter-regional shipments, Corp pickups tracking, following up on shipments and relationship building, securing logistic lane bids, HR issues, Store Service follow-up, etc. This role will also provide support to DRC teams and the National Director on projects, forecasts, and new procedures setup whether operationally efficiency maintaining and/or changing NRO/THQ/government compliance.

The position will work on the various Door to Floor (D2F) programs in process as well upcoming along with working with the National Director and regional DRCs to formalize and put in place 5S training for all DRC’s and follow-up to ensure compliance enhance safety in the workplace.

**Accountabilities**

**1.** **Finance and Operational Consistency**
- Provide support to the National DRC Director and DRC managers on Business Cases.
- Support Wal-Mart and other corporate donor dispatch across the country.
- Process payments for shipments/sales from the DRC’s and billing from charity partners.
- Assist in arranging Corp Pick-ups and billing for large corp. donations with other DRCs and coordinate with the National Business Sustainability department regarding tax receipts.
- Work on Special Projects (D2F, warehouse inventory tracking, etc.) and aiding analysis of sales, partnerships etc.
- Help in auditing gas, waste, and recycling invoices tracked by the Element system (which oversees fleet), ensuring that physical receipts align with the system once DRC receipts are reconciled.
- Track terms contracts (union, partnership, etc.) and shipments in process; confirm shipments’ delivery/completion.
- Maintain Store Ordering System once set up and inventory of store fixtures (in conjunction with Property and Retail).

**2.** **Coordination, Administration, and Reporting**
- In partnership with the Donation department and DRC managers, ensure corporate donations’ logistics (timely picked up/dispatched, confirm inventory and liaison with retail on value).
- Issue BOL’s for inter-district shipments.
- Consolidate, create, and manage invoicing for the DRC’s.
- Consolidate and track corporate, municipal, and regional partnerships.
- Research commodity pricing and market trends and report on it.
- Track and follow up on Vehicle and DRC Incident Reports.
- Provide support in securing storage options year-round.
- Dispatch of maintenance notifications of trucks and vehicles along with follow-up.
- Dispatch of relevant reports to supporting departments.
- Track Electronic, Bales, Bric production for the DRC’s when they are officially rolled out.
- Coordinate NRO CVOR Training twice a year per region and/or province.
- Track, confirm, and report on online CVOR training for each DRC.
- Ensure DRC inspections are being completed correctly.
- Ensure compliance from DRCs, that they are submitted properly.
- Pre-select DRCs and ensure compliance with THQ-mandated audits.
- Track DRC production reports.
- Take in GPS truck monitoring.
- Maintain DRC inventory tracking (Trucks, Vehicles Esso cards, Element Cards, Phone loss and replacements).
- Update GPS locations, fences, and event.
- Keep current with industry trends; consistently maintain current knowledgebase and upgrade skills.
- Participate in DRC Manager meetings and host/MC meetings when National DRC Director is unavailable.

**3.** **People Management**:

- Responsible for ensuring that all drivers within the DRC’s files are up to date, with signed drivers policy abstract etc.
- Fill in for National DRC Specialist for holidays, sickness, etc.
