**JOB TITLE : Business Development Lead, Community Mental Health Clinic (TMS Life)**
**Location**: Suite 300, 250 City Centre, Ottawa, ON
**Job Type**: Full-time, hybrid
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, may include travel, evenings and weekends as required.
**About us**:
Welcome to TMS Life - we are a rapidly growing private mental health clinic that specializes in providing cutting edge diagnostic tools and treatments for depression, OCD and other mental health conditions. We currently provide repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
rTMS is a first-line, medication-free, Health Canada approved treatment for Depression. It is also recommended for OCD, PTSD and other mental health conditions. It is not currently covered or accessible in our provincial healthcare system. Therefore, TMS Life was founded in September 2023 by our psychiatrist, Dr. Chris Taplin, to fill this gap and provide more options for people struggling with mental health concerns. Our goal is to instill hope in our clients, provide a high quality of care and to continue to advance and adopt evidence based mental health treatments as they become available.
**Responsibilities**:
In this dynamic role you will:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of TMS Life’s current marketing and sales operations
- Develop and execute an overall client focused strategic plan addressing both short & long-term growth.
- Identify & establish key partnerships in the community to maximize awareness of our treatments and our clinic with the goal to develop consistent growth in new clientele.
- New Lead Generation and Management
- Organize and coordinate re-engagement strategies
- Coordinate and organize important educational rounds, information webinars, virtual and in-person meetings that are to be provided by our clinical team.
- Identify areas of improvement and manage existing or future strategies regarding digital marketing including: webpage, social media and SEO.
- Communicate with Clients, making outbound calls to potential clients, and following up on leads/opportunities
- Answering potential clients' questions and sending additional information as needed
- Creating/maintaining relationships, while managing existing clients accounts, support retaining existing services for renewal, and identify value added opportunities.
- In coordination with the clinical team, develop educational material and handouts for potential clients or referring providers.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous business development experience, ideally in the healthcare or related field.
- A bachelor’s degree in commerce, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent
- A proven track record of success of conducting business development
- The ability to travel as needed.
- Familiarity with healthcare environments including exposure to patient interactions and interdisciplinary clinical teams is advantageous.
- Experience in a customer service role is desirable, especially if it involved interactions with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

- Project coordination and organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative to follow-through
- Maintain effective performance in a demanding environment.
- Work with mínimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Bilingual (En/Fr) (an asset but not required)
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and handle changing priorities in a dynamic work environment
- Equipped to have necessary conversations with patients and families.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, appropriate boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines
