E-commerce Account Manager

As an E-Commerce Account Manager, you will take a leadership role in driving the growth and success of our e-commerce operations. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for identifying high-potential opportunities, sourcing new product leads, and formulating strategies to boost sales across multiple platforms. Your proactive approach to market analysis, lead generation, and cross-functional collaboration will be critical in scaling our online presence and optimizing sales performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute sales growth strategies across e-commerce platforms to drive revenue and increase market share.
- Proactively source new product leads and partnerships, negotiating with suppliers to expand our product portfolio.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior to inform strategic decision-making and product selection.
- Lead the optimization of product listings, ensuring visibility and conversion across platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, and eBay.
- Oversee the creation and execution of promotional campaigns, working closely with marketing teams to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales, marketing, and inventory management strategies.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key sales performance metrics, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize profitability.
- Manage supplier relationships, inventory levels, and procurement processes to ensure optimal stock availability and pricing.
- Ensure superior customer experience by addressing order-related inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging e-commerce technologies to continuously improve operations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce account management, sales, or product management with a proven track record of driving growth.
- Expertise in e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, and related tools, with experience in forecasting and monitoring key account metrics.
- Strong ability to generate and manage sales leads, negotiate supplier and client contracts, and expand product offerings.
- Proven experience in preparing and presenting reports, budgets, and progress updates on quarterly, monthly, and yearly initiatives to stakeholders.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client needs, create new opportunities, and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
- Proficiency in data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for interpreting and presenting actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic graphic design tools for product listings and promotional materials is a plus.
