Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior E-commerce Web Developer to join our team at HongMall. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing e-commerce business solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a focus on e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for maintaining existing computer programs, communicating technical problems and solutions, and researching new technologies to stay ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve existing e-commerce websites, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Develop and implement new features and functionality, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce experiences.
  • Conduct thorough research and testing to evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies, recommending improvements to the team.
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce applications, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and database management.
  • Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
