**About the position**

LED Roadway Lighting Limited is seeking a full-time Office Administrator to join our team at **our manufacturing plant** in **Amherst, Nova Scotia**. This role will be 40 hours per week during our Manufacturing Plant’s Office Hours, Monday through Friday from 8am - 4:30pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests to the office in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate the main switchboard by accurately and professionally directing calls and providing information.
- Maintain all Payroll functions for hourly staff_
- Use ADP Workforce to submit Payroll bi-weekly
- Monitor Syspro’s ShopClock daily
- Maintain Employee Status Request Forms for banked hours, vacation and sick time
- Issue Record of Employment (ROE’s)
- Sort and distribute pay statements
- Support Accounts Payable_
- Data entry and coding of incoming invoices
- Responding to some vendor inquiries
- Work with outside vendors for numerous functions_
- Corporate reservations/bookings - hotel rooms for visitors, company vehicle, corporate events
- Order/procure office and cafeteria supplies, as needed (includes produce orders, coffee machines, office supplies, and copier/toner supplies)
- Arrange pickups with shredding company and dry cleaners (for smocks)
- Prepare and receive outgoing and incoming mail, packages and courier shipments (Please note: we have a Shipping/Receiving Department that is responsible for all manufacturing Component and Product-related items).
- Assist with some Employee-related tasks_
- Print On-boarding welcome packages, assign swipe cards, print training placard names, take photos
- Data entry into some systems - SharePoint, Syspro, ADP Workforce
- Provide employees with HR forms for Canada Life, Corporate forms and absence reporting forms
- Manage and reconcile Coffee Fund and Petty Cash monthly
- Maintain and update information on electronic boards/screens
- Other administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Business Administration Program completion is an asset
- 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Required: Available Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm
- Required: Drivers Licence
- Required: Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Programs: Office 365 (O365), Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Beneficial Asset: Experience with ADP Workforce or other systems where data entry was important to the role
- Exceptional interpersonal skills both on the phone and in-person.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and planning skills.
- A keen eye for attention to detail.
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.

**Base Hourly Rate: $17/hr (40 hours/week)**
