**Farm Administrator**

**Island Holdings Limited supports Cavendish Farms by producing healthy and productive potato crops on farm operations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.**

This role is full time and includes administration for two seed potato operations - in Chapman Settlement, NS and in Juniper, NB. Occasional travel is required.

**Qualifications**:

- High School or college diploma
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based accounting programs
- Highly detailed and organized
- Knowledge of agriculture is an asset
- Able to work evenings, weekends and overtime during peak seasons
- Class 5 driver’s license required

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Customer service over the phone and in person
- Processing of invoices, purchase orders, shipping records, payroll
- Support employee hiring, onboarding and orientation including pre-employment assessments new hire documentation
- Data entry and filing, meeting period and year-end deadlines
- Auditing company and site policies to ensure compliance
- All other administration and farm related duties as required

**Compensation**:

- Hourly wage range of $20-24 per hour
