Location: St. Thomas Ford Lincoln, Service Department
**Job Type**: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Answer Incoming Calls:
- Respond promptly to incoming phone calls with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Address customer inquiries regarding service appointments and general service department information.
Book Appointments:
- Schedule service appointments via phone, website, and in person.
- Ensure accurate entry of appointment details into the scheduling system.
- Confirm appointments and provide customers with necessary details regarding their service visits.
Outgoing Service Follow-Up Calls:
- Conduct follow-up calls to customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain records of follow-up interactions and report any unresolved issues to the service manager.
Assist Service Advisors:
- Support service advisors with administrative tasks as needed.
- Help prepare service documentation and maintain organized service records.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers in the service department and assist with their initial needs.
- Provide a welcoming and professional environment for all customers.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in customer service or automotive service is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including appointment scheduling tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
