About the role_**
**Location**:Hybrid (50 - 75%) Traveling within Ontario
We’re looking for a confident and proactive Team Lead - Employment Ontario (EO) Marketing to oversee the day-to-day marketing operations for our EO programs. In this fast-paced and hands-on role, you’ll provide staff support, supervision, scheduling, and resourcing, ensuring marketing plans are delivered on time and materials are used effectively.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications & Marketing, you’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager, Social Media & Communications Specialist, EO Directors, and the Chief Operating Officer to implement innovative strategies and campaigns that drive program success and achieve client volume targets.
**This is a full-time, hybrid, fixed-term contract position to June 2025, with the potential to become a permanent position.**
**_ What you'll do_**
- Communicate clearly with internal partners and collaborators regarding project timelines and deliverables
- Work within the allocated Budget in consultation with the Director of Operations per catchment
- Initiate new EO marketing strategies to align with Business Objectives
- Approve all marketing collateral and social media (Service Provider Network, Employer and Client-facing)
- Develop and implement promotional strategies and marketing campaigns that promote EO employment services programs and increase awareness amongst Clients, potential Clients, Employers, Community Organizations and other parties
- Adhere to corporate brand and stakeholder standards, review all newly created material with management to obtain Ministry or stakeholder approval
- Identify local EO opportunities for marketing campaigns focused on driving client volumes in the community, including inclusion groups
- Analyse marketing campaign metrics to determine effectiveness in creating awareness and recruiting clients
- Reconcile monthly billing statements
- Assist Senior Leaders with communications between WCG and funding bodies
- Lead team of EO Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer
- Facilitate team building and learning opportunities
- Assist with website content maintenance across all EO programs
- Support the Social Media & Communications Specialist in enhancing social media presence across all EO employment services programs
- Ensure marketing and communications adhere to all brand guidelines and policies of funding organizations
- Act as marketing advisor for WCG EO staff
- Maintain a strong understanding of market attitudes and preferences on social issues. Ensure WCG’s values are reflected in Marketing Activities
**Qualifications**

Essential Requirements:_**
- Minimum five years leading, creating, and delivering large successful marketing plans, campaigns, and experiences that stakeholders love.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suites, Canva, Hubspot, and video editing software.
- Degree in Marketing or equivalent combination of experience and education
- The Team Lead must demonstrate experience in strong leadership in supervising a marketing team of five or less.
- Ability to analyze and creatively solve technical and business-related problems.
- Excellent communication, diplomacy, interpersonal, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and project management.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in different Ontario locations and travel as required.
- Must successfully pass a Criminal Record Check.
**_ Preferred Criteria:_**
- Strategic leadership and contract management experience in the field of workforce development.
- Previous experience working in or with Employment Ontario employment-focused programs.
- Knowledge of the Ontario labour market, community resources, government social service programs, and issues related to employment services.
- Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategies.
- Post-secondary Marketing degree.
- Being bilingual in French and English is considered an asset.
