**Position Objective**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage, train, monitor, and direct the workflow of a multi-jurisdictional team of administrators with mínimal supervision
- Ensure service standards are maintained under tight time constraints
- Document, streamline, and optimize day-to-day processes, procedures, and workflows and work with the National Services and Systems teams towards the cross-country harmonization of same
- Review work produced by administration staff including pension, termination, death, marriage breakdown and garnishment benefit payments
- Compose/review various communications with members and beneficiaries
- Resolve issues as they relate to calculations and/or system data issues
- Preparation of reports as required, ensuring timely completion
- Resolve client/member complaints in a professional manner
- Support team members with questions pertaining to policies and procedures, providing instruction as required
- Ensure team members are maintaining member and beneficiary system records accurately as transactions are processed
- Manage and support special projects
- Other administrative duties as required

**Application Requirements**
- Three - five years of experience in defined benefit pension administration (multi-employer experience a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of pension legislation across Western Canada
- An aptitude for figures with attention to detail
- Proficiency with pension administration systems, enterprise content management software, and MS Office (advanced Excel functionality in particular)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- CEBS designation or a background in actuarial math or a pension consulting environment is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to guide and oversee work through to completion
- Demonstrated coaching and training skills
- Fluency in French is highly desirable
