The People & Culture group is a team of service-minded individuals who are passionate about ensuring smart, customer-focused business processes are developed and followed. This team serves multiple internal customers and is made up of key business enablers and trusted business partners who provide superior customer service through collaboration, innovation, partnerships, and leadership to ensure the best possible user experience. In alignment with the needs of Explore Edmonton, services include providing governance advice and support, offering scalable business solutions, creating value for employees by building and facilitating connections across the organization.

**About the Position**:
The People and Culture team is looking for a **People & Culture Administrator**. Areas of focus will include, but are not limited to, data administration, coordination of employee learning and development programming, SharePoint site administration, Celayix Scheduling System administration and employee file management. This person has an eye for detail, impeccable time management and extraordinary organization skills.

The successful individual will:

- Coordinate, and support learning and development programs and initiatives
- Coordinate and support recognition programs and initiatives
- Coordinate team meetings, agendas, minutes/notes, and tracks action items as required.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare, draft, edit or format various documents and presentations in support of People & Culture programs or initiatives.
- Maintain various pages on SharePoint.
- Provide administrative support to internal working groups, teams, and committees, as assigned.
- Maintain accurate electronic employee profiles in HRIS and scheduling system, including entering new hire, leaves, return to work and terminations, with an understanding of the various employment status types, applicable rules, regulations, and legislation.
- Enter, update, and maintain employee data and changes in HRIS and scheduling system, as required.
- Ensure paperwork is complete and added to appropriate folders, while communicating necessary information to team members.
- Ensure digital employee files and scheduling system data remain up to date and accurate.
- Provide onboarding, guidance and troubleshooting support for the scheduling system.
- Business Administration Certification or Human Resources Certificate. If certification is not available, experience would be considered
- 1-2 years administration work (data entry, system work). Experience in HR considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Office Suite and SharePoint (Work, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with focus on detail orientation
- Strong writing, editing, grammatical, and general information research competencies
- Strong self-management with ability to consistently meet deadlines, work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving
- Demonstrated communication skills with ability to effectively articulate and communicate with all levels of employees throughout the organization
- Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced employee centric service environment
