Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our People & Culture team as an Intern. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about launching their career in Human Resources. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to diverse projects and initiatives, providing valuable insights into the HR industry. You will also gain hands-on experience in various aspects of People & Culture within a dynamic organization and have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the field and learn from their expertise.

This is a 12- month fixed term opportunity, commencing in May 2024.

Responsibilities:
- Information Gathering: Collect relevant data and information to develop presentations and reports on various People & Culture initiatives- Project Support: Assist with project work by providing administrative support to the People & Culture team. This includes tasks such as calendar management, document preparation, and presentation curation- Administrative Support: Offer administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of People & Culture processes and activities- Recent graduate of a undergraduate studies in a related field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar. Students graduating by Summer 2024 will also be considered- Prior HR or Administration experience is desirable (co-op experience included)- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy in work

Success Measures:
As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn from a diverse and experienced HR team while making a significant contribution to AIMCo’s HR initiatives.
