Inside Business Development Representative

Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, the Inside Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for selling all Cole products and services, features, and benefits and quoting pre-approved prices to potential customers. This individual will also develop his or her own leads through the internet, prospect lists, cold calling, and any other prospect targeting streams. The Inside BDR will also qualify leads to hand off to the Outside BDR for face-to-face meetings.

**Job Description & Responsibilities**:
- Research for new sales opportunities through the internet, lead lists, LinkedIn Navigator or other external sources of leads
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
- Identify/Prospect/Target and qualify potential new customers either proactively or reactively via cold calling through phone or electronically
- Respond to web requests, incoming calls, or referrals to sell all Cole services
- Create and deliver qualified sales lead opportunities (on prescribed form) to Outside BDR, as appropriate, and/or as specified thresholds are met
- Identify decision-makers to begin the sales process
- Overcome objections of prospective customers
- Follow-up with Outside BDRs to determine if leads that were sent to them were secured, for reporting purposes
- Collaborate with Business Development Manager to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
**Requirements & Education**:
- Must have sales experience and computer skills in Word and Excel
- Minimum grade 12 Diploma
- Logistics experience
- Speaking Bilingual will be an asset
