_**Duties and Responsibilities**_
- Internal and external reporting:_
- Prepare internal management monthly financials and commentary, for review by Director of Finance
- Prepare monthly balance sheet, and oversee the account reconciliation process in each balance sheet area
- Prepare monthly passholder and other customer analytical reports
- Prepare departmental analytical reports as needed
- Assist Director of Finance in year-end audit, including working paper preparation and fielding audit questions
- Assist Director of Finance in quarterly reporting requirements for other key stakeholders
- Accounting Systems:_
- Assist Director of Finance in the development of internal controls over financial reporting
- Maintain the organizations’ Chart of Accounts (COA), including the development and improvement of efficient COA’s that enhance financial reporting
- Be an integral part of accounting systems/ERP set up
- Work closely with IT on POS product set up, maintaining the integrity of revenue recognition and sales taxes
- Banking:_
- Be the main point of contact with the organization’s bank for all operational banking needs and support
- Review and approve monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all entries prepared by Finance & Accounting Coordinator are accurate
- Assist Director of Finance with cash flow forecasting: communication regarding unforeseen payments/deposits, delay in receiving payments, EBITDA fluctuations, etc. Be the back up for renewing the BA in the event the Director of Finance is away
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly remittance of sales taxes and Provincial health tax

Other:

- Assist the Finance & Accounting Coordinator with daily accounting tasks, including processing of payables and receivables
- Other as-hoc tasks as required

**Required Skills and Experience**
- CPA designation, or nearing program completion, an asset
- 5-years of experience in full cycle accounting
- Solid account reconciliation experience
- Experience with ERP software and POS systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its products, intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong general computer skills
- Criminal record check required

Hours per week: 32

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
