Position Overview:
The Sales Representative for the Prairie Provinces (Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba) is instrumental in expanding our customer base within this specific region. This role requires a blend of effective communication, persuasive prowess, and an in-depth understanding of the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and Natural Health sectors. The primary objective is to drive sales growth and exceed targets while establishing a commanding presence for our products in the Prairie Provinces.

Please find the key responsibilities of the Sales Representative as follows:

- Assume ownership of the Prairie Provinces territory, identifying key market segments and target customers within the region.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with existing and potential clients in the Prairie Provinces, understanding their unique needs and tailoring sales approaches accordingly.
- Proactively prospect and engage potential customers within the territory using various sales techniques, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Establish and meet sales targets and objectives specifically tailored to the Prairie Provinces territory, striving to exceed quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor products, and regional economic conditions within the Prairie Provinces. Utilize this knowledge to identify opportunities and threats and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain meticulous records of sales activities within the Prairie Provinces, preparing regular reports detailing sales performance and sharing insights with management.
- Skillfully negotiate and close sales deals within the territory, addressing customer objections and concerns effectively to secure business.
- Provide dedicated post-sales support to clients within the Prairie Provinces, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and addressing inquiries or issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and relevant departments to develop and execute sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives tailored to the Prairie Provinces.
- In-depth knowledge of the Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of relevant industry products and trends.
- Proficiency in computer skills for maintaining sales records and reports, including SalesForce.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is a plus.
