**Position Title: Inside Sales Representative**
**Location: Richmond B.C. (V6V 3C8)**
**Starting Minimum: $50,000 per annum**
**Job Type**:Full Time Permanent
**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Sales Manager or designate, the Retail Inside Sales Representative will be supporting retail sales efforts with customer ordering and service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Daily calls to customer base for orders, SPO orders and order entry.
- Support Retail Sales Representatives with sell/spec sheets and inventory checks
- Provide holiday relief for Retail sales representatives.
- Entering Retail orders for a main retail chain.
- Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to follow up on retail sales representative accounts
- Stay informed about competing products and services.
- Upsell products and services.
- Additional duties as assigned.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- 1 to 2 years of progressive sales experience in a similar-sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.
- 1 to 3 years of related industry experience required.
- Effective communication skills with clients, customers and colleagues.
- Proficient at working on computers.
- Self-motivated and able to work both in and outside of an office setting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of online sales platforms is considered an asset.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Familiarity with e-commerce tools and analytics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using social media for business purposes.
