**About the role**

We are looking for a **Content Strategy Advisor, **to join our SEO & Content Strategy team

Reporting to the Manager, SEO & Content Strategy, you will play a key role in the strategy, creation and improvement of our multi-platforms content. As a Content Strategy Advisor, you’ll be responsible for managing content strategy and production (English writing, editing, translation) across all our websites to drive organic traffic, maximize leads conversion and optimize user experience.

**IMPORTANT - This position is a full-time temporary position for 14-months.**

**What you'll do here**:

- Lead the English content strategy for our websites with cross-functional teams, including our external SEO agency, to collaboratively develop our SEO strategy, ensuring we are focused on the most impactful growth initiatives.
- Writing, editing, and publishing impactful content in diverse forms to drive SEO success and help reach a variety of business goals;
- Using tools such as Site Improve, Brightedge and SEMRush to analyze and report on performance, proactively share insights, and make recommendations;
- Define, update and promote websites editorial guidelines and develop an editorial calendar.
- Develop and maintain network of reliable copywriting and translation freelancers and/or agencies; manage content production, edit and proofread material.
- Work closely with UX/UI design experts to promote user-friendly content layout and website experience.
- Work in collaboration with other business units to obtain approvals: marketing, underwriting, and legal.
- Ensure brand differentiation among our multi-brand portfolio (belairdirect, Intact Insurance, white-labels, etc.), while maintaining brand consistency on each website.
- Foster close relationships with the marketing team to reflect brand positioning on digital platforms and deliver organic and paid marketing effectiveness.
- Be on the lookout for evolving trends in content marketing, conduct occasional competitive content marketing analysis and communicate insights to internal and external partners.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Proficiency with English writing and editing.
- Create and execute data-driven English content strategy for our brands.
- Identify content gaps and conduct competitor research to target content opportunities
- Advanced understanding of SEO performance and understanding of search algorithms.
- Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving revenue through content strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other stakeholders including copywriters, web designers and web developers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to provide final SEO QA for new content
- Comfortable with a range of tools to track and measure performance
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices for on-page optimization
- Creative, curious and solution-driven, you’re not afraid to challenge status quo and innovate.
- Able to learn fast and at ease in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Minimum 3-years of experience in English writing for digital platforms and SEO optimization.
- Post-secondary education in communications, linguistics, marketing or a related field.
- Proven success in developing content strategy and initiatives that improved SEO performance and drove business results.
- Experience managing content in a Content Management System, such as Drupal, Wordpress, or Craft is a strong asset.
- Experience in the insurance or financial industry is an asset.
- Experience with GenAI (content prompts and testing) is an asset.
- A team player with a positive attitude, you love working in a collaborative environment.
- Good communication skills with ability to summarize key highlights and present information in simple terms.
- Results-oriented, you have an analytical mind and can translate insights into actionable items.
- Proactive in sharing knowledge and best practices for digital content.
- Well organized and resourceful, you ensure a rigorous file management.
