We aim to revolutionise the way business is conducted in its chosen business segments. The business is a leading provider of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors to the retail and trade sectors. The jobholder will ultimately be responsible for selling products to potential clients, meeting, and exceeding sales targets, and contributing to the growth and success of the company. This role involves a combination of prospecting, relationship-building, and effective communication to drive sales.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Working closely with a number of key stakeholders across the business, the jobholder will need to;
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
- Generate leads and build a pipeline of opportunities.
- Conduct product or service presentations to potential clients.
- Clearly communicate the features, benefits, and value proposition to meet client needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Follow up on leads, qualify prospects, and handle objections.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients. Ensure that all contractual agreements are in line with company policies and standards.
- Close sales and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to the sales team and contribute to strategic planning.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and forecasts.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- **Experience selling small plug in type electronic devices.**:

- **Experience with B2B sales in the electronic manufacturing sector.**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the life safety industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent organisational skills with proven experience of managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Great problem-solving skills
- Possess high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organisation; both internally and with customers/suppliers.
- Ability to work without supervision and use initiative.
- Proactive and an eagerness to learn
- A hunger and excitement to work for a fast-growing business
- Prior exposure to finance departments
- Experience in an engineering/technology led organisation
- A willingness to roll-up sleeves, be flexible, and take responsibility on warranty matters

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
