Position Overview

United Trimen, a national leader in the distribution of smallwares and food service equipment, is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Manager to join our team. This role will focus on developing Account Managers, strengthening customer relationships, and driving business growth. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll play a key role in building and mentoring a high-performing sales team while identifying opportunities for company growth.

Key Responsibilities- Mentor and develop Account Managers, creating succession plans and providing regular feedback.- Collaborate on business plans and assist in new account development while maintaining strong relationships with key customers.- Review sales performance, margins, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.- Lead sales training initiatives and ensure the team meets customer service expectations.- Maintain strong industry knowledge, represent United Trimen at customer events, and drive initiatives to meet sales targets.- Hire, train, and develop the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications- More than 5 years previous sales or business experience with 3 years previous supervisory experience.- Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.- Time management and organizational abilities, with a strategic mindset.- Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies.- Skilled at building relationships, networking, and linking resources to execute business practices.- Expertise in developing profitability models and other analytical tools.- Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset.
