**Job Overview**

Regional Janitorial and Maintenance is ready to inspire an Ad-Hoc Janitorial & Maintenance Associate in providing services at our client facilities and project sites in the GTA. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Ad-Hoc Janitorial & Maintenance Associate’s primary accountability is balancing the execution of maintenance projects at multiple client facilities and sites with continuous quality assurance.

Ad-Hoc Janitorial & Maintenance Associates have the opportunity to work from 10:00am to 2:00am from Monday to Sunday up to 44 hours per week, depending on operational requirements. Due to the projects being conducted on an ad-hoc or as needed basis there are no guaranteed hours on a weekly basis. You will also be required to have the ability to travel to multiple client facilities and project sites within the GTA.

**Salary**: $18.00/hr to $20.00/hr

**Employment Type**:On-Call, Casual

**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead by example; join both our Janitorial and Maintenance Associates and Subcontractors in preparing, cleaning, and maintaining client facilities and construction sites.
- Move construction debris, materials and equipment.
- Handle and distribute construction materials.
- Review and execute maintenance deliverables with the Team according to the specifications and schedule.
- Foster and promote a positive and safe work culture.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to address client inquiries and requests.
- Support the scheduling and coordination of service deliverables.
- Ensure that that services are performed according to service specifications and scheduling while exceeding client expectations.
- Actively and consistently collaborate in health and safety, security and cleanliness initiatives.
- Maintain and use a variety of equipment and tools.
- Assist the Operations Manager with the procurement and logistics of project materials.
- Participate and contribute to ongoing learning and development programs onsite and through Regional’s e-Learning platform.

**Job Requirements**
- A minimum of 1 year of janitorial and maintenance experience in client-centric environments.
- Ability to travel to multiple client facilities within the GTA during a single shift.
- Be available to work during the day and evening up to 40 hours weekly.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Professional working proficiency of the English language.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow work instructions and procedures.
- Self-drive in meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
- Positive, professional, safety oriented and client-centric attitude.
- Proven experience as a collaborative Team player.
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Working knowledge of janitorial and maintenance services and best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a physically demanding environment, stand for long periods and lift and work with materials up to 55 lbs.
- Posses a clear Canadian Criminal Background.
