**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and safety practices.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and helping others in the kitchen.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
